AB silver on cool weather. (morning rain, afternoon no sun)
came out the parts not consistent and look like frosting. can occur in such weather for ab ????

then now what ? re paint silver again ?? or spray black and silver again ?

too humid coz of the morning rain and lack of sun.
try spray a bit of thinner on the frosted part to remove the frosting, then spray silver again. if not bling enuf then u probably need to respray black

are u planning to spray a different colour on the grey areas?
it is usually easier to spray the smaller areas first, then mask the smaller area and spray the larger area

no more painting on those. last min decide to add the grey color.

for spray can, usually when i spray, it covers large area. Do i still do the same by spraying smaller area , then mask it out and spray the primer again?

I usually dun spray primer again, unless it is hard to cover the other colour.


so for ur case, it will be easier to spray the grey colour first, then mask the grey and spray the other colour

for me, always paint from small area to large area
or lighter color to darker color (black/grey)

i get my kits these days from HLJ or taobao... hardly get it from hobby shops these days.... only paints supply from hobbyshops here...

got this small red part i want to repaint but the main body color is blue.

if i repaint the red and mask it afterwards, some spill over of the red on the blue body will be there.

when i repaint blue again, will the color blend in ? since its primary color (red and blue). or will turn purple?

or i need to prime again and then paint blue?

have not tried these colours before.
usually I am more concern that the colour will be a different shade for those that are spray over another colour

Amiami also. They are the cheapest so far... But also sold out fast la. 2nd choice will be HLJ. Never tried taobao yet. Local shop for paint supplies only.

anyone using the premix panel lining ? i using grey. when wipe with tissue, seems like the tissue will also absorb the paint along the lining. and the panel lining, with grey dont seem thick anymore as compared to self-mix black enamel wash. or its normal ?

Lets say based on 1 RG, 00 Raiser which the one and only I have builded so far. Local RTP is $64. Then non-rtp is around $45.

Amiami is selling at 2240yen. Lets say I am a god darm cheapo, 1010yen (based from CDJapan) SAL unregistered shipping. Total 3250, which is around $37.

Astray Red Frame is at 2125 yen from CDJapan (1890yen from Amiami), and SAL unregisted (based from CDJapan) at 700yen. (Got 800yen point, so abusing it to get it at 2095yen shipped).

Since Astray Red Frame is same RTP as Wing Gundam, we can assume it retail for $54, non-RTP be at around $38.
So you will be looking at Local $38vs SAL (2 weeks shipping time) $30.

Of course, the more you buy, the cheaper the shipping will be overall. The question will you be willing to wait to save $?

Any idea where to get waterslide decal? Official and non-official ones. Official ones are still relatively easy to find (but lack of choices) while non-official ones on ebay is a big rip-off
