When Bandai announced that they will be releasing Red Warrior MG, my initial reception was cold. But after releasing more products images, especially the quick impressions completed by a Japanese site, I was sold.

The frame uses a mixture of new and MG RX-78 ver. 2.0 parts, the weapons looks handy as well.

Will be taking it apart this week to prepare for painting.

Check in as fragile, which airline are you flying.

Travelled via Cathay and ANA, both allowed me to check in PG 00 Raiser and Unicorn.

Both boxes arrived at Changi unscathed.

via cathay. you check in as original box ? not scared people kop at the belt ? :o

Yup, checked in the original box.

The counter staff at Haneda covered it with a giant plastic bag as well, so it wasn't that obvious when it was rolling on the belt.

this is really nice, airbrushed?

Tamiya spray can.

i did purchase airbrush but only when i've completed painting this kit. if u going to paint more kit in future, better to get airbrush. Spray Can quite siong for the wallet

like what the others have warned me earlier...there's no going back after u try painting.

Hi Guys,

I just bought a MG Sinaju OVA and i really like the metallic colour scheme. I bought metallic red spray can and gloss top coat. Would it be enough to have a metallic finish?

I have always been doing matt finish thus i dont know anything about metallic finish. i dont have an airbrush as well.

Thank you in advance :)

MG Shinanju OVA! bought one too.

think for metallic, better to spray black (gloss) as base first.

anyway, for me, i will be doing this http://www.figure.fm/en/post/1959/MG+1+100+MSN+06S+Sinanju.html .

Primer/Surfacer grey -> Gloss Black -> Silver(Optional for some) -> Metallic colours -> Gloss coat(May need multi layers pending on builder's preference)
