wondering if anyone paints their kits using brush instead of air brush? do yall use tamiya paints or just get them from artfriend/popular?
tried it once using tamiya, imo better than snapfit, but more tedious and doesn't look as good as ab.

Paint doesn't stick as well, if u don't use primer.
paint retarder might help if u have it

U could still give it a shot if u have the time

Can anyone advise how did u bring back PG gundam back from Japan?
Flat pack to prevent gst? Usually I will bring MG but never PG.

Hand carry like confirm will be charge gst right.

Which is a better model in term of build quality?
Strike freedom or strike Aile

if i'm not mistaken, gst is charged when the total value of the merchandise being brought in is more than 600 sinkie dollars. if by post, is more than 400.

Just check in as a fragile item and no need to flat pack.

I have carried PG 00 Raiser and Unicorn back in the past 2 years without the customs disturbing me.

Hi Kenneth,
Did you repack with other packaging over the boxes?
PG strike freedom at 20k yen,
PG banshee at 18k yen.

Seem reasonable to me to travel all the way to Akihabara.

My total items other than gunpla will be way more than gst limit heng the concern of holding too obvious items. So far so good no issues but nv such big boxes like PG models as previously all items are in both trolleys.

For the 00 Raiser, the staff at Yodobashi stick a piece of paper over the box. Which in turn, the Cathay Pacific counter staff at the airport paste the fragile sticker over that piece of paper. Finally, they covered the box with a giant white plastic bag.

For the Unicorn, Yodobashi gave me a giant bag which fits the box. So I checked in that and back home in Changi it was intact. Was flying with ANA for this particular trip.

Do buy gunpla from Yodobashi Akiba, prices are inclusive of tax so you get an 8% off if you spend 11k at least. They have dedicated counter(s) for handling tax free purchases.

0.2 Platinum at the top, 0.3 Platinum ver 2 at the middle and the 0.5 which has been my main workhorse since last September.

First impression? Very solid build and grip.

So today was my first time applying dry transfer decals on my first mg kit, and I'm loving the look of it. IMO it has the best look compared to stickers and water slides. Just wondering if there are people who make/sell dry transfer versions of the stickers/water slides?
