Given the scenario that played out; caught fire immediately after the crash. No, the fuel fire is too big

I saw before overseas incidents. Multiple 4-9kg stuff also cannot suppress much of these car fuel fires and those were just engine compartment ones, which of coz later spread to the cabin, and then they continously discharged into the cabin. Simply coz the dry powder (not really the optimal extinguishant as it does not have cooling, though it might have a somewhat initial knockdown effect) for fuel and cannot even reach the base of the flames, ie the discharge distance. There is also the penetration issue, to the base of the fire.

Simply too much radiant heat to be even within 10m (2 car lengths) away.....i mean folks can try to get closer but for sure get burns.

Just see the Tg Pagar M4 case, there was a taxi who stopped and someone did get a FE from the taxi's car boot. Approached within 2 car lengths initially but subsequently backed away. It was simply too hot, any sane person would not risk getting closer and give the flight response. That Raybe Oh fella did get closer and was seriously burnt, that's just the reality of things. There really is nothing anybody can do once the fuel tank has leaked and burns, other than the fire department of course, not with multiple dry powder extinguishers not even with multiple hose reels (again, incorrect extinguishant)

The typical 1-2kg dry power is really just useful for any initial electrical fire that is still in the infancy smoking phase and is melting or igniting other stuff in the engine bay (definitely not a leaking / burning fuel tank), then really gotta quickly open the boot and discharge the whole thing.

SNB911U is 2021 car.

Thanks. I no longer follow. How did you all keep track ? Is there a website ?

I remember last time the bidding was done for the next series. Assuming there was SNA, then SNB would be open for bidding when SNA was being allocated. I’m just curious which months were SNA and SNB registered.
