The van is at fault. It is not defensive driving. He wanted to filter into the turn but didn't want to drive slowly and let the cyclist pass him. Not sure why the cyclist crashed though.

the van driver is turning left, so the cyclist has to filter to his right but just as the van turning action cause it back side to hit the bicycle or the cyclist filter too early and hit the back of the van

the video shows obviously there is no contact, signal and ample space is given, is cyclist bey gan and now trying to find something to blame

these cyclists seems to have a self entitled thinking that all lights must be green, all pedestrians and motorists must give way to them, they cannot slow down because their personal best timings is the most important; anything or anyone that will cause them to need slow or stop or PMD/PMA faster than them, they sure find beef one
