Sometimes I wonder if the banks set a term like this to trap customers

Something of out of the norm to catch us off guard if we are not careful...

The bank set the tnc clearly. If did not follow or forgot, can't blame the bank. People were reminding in the thread. Put it down on calender.

I went one step further. I put in pocket and created on the day when maturity is the pull out date.

Lol look like i self pwned.
On the same day 22nd Jan the boost pocket matured and auto moved to main account, i send all out to another bank the same morning liao.

Sad. Thought why today still no bonus credited then realized this.

Give them a call to appeal.

Someone I know appealed successfully. The case might not be identical to yours but no harm trying since it is just a phonecall. Think they are 24/7. And they pick up fairly quickly.

no, banks not free to trap customers. no reason to do that
is all under tnc..

The type that try to trap customers is like UOB promo limited to first 10,000 customers and no way to know if eligible.

But we can still decide not to join.

So far the digital banks GXS and Maribank when have such clause are those targeted promo, not open to all. And they will send email to confirm if eligible shortly after registration period is over.

When the boost pocket item matures and is not set to auto renew, it flows into the main pocket on its own.

I don't think I'll do it though.
After all, I failed the condition and it's also by invite too.
It's a loss, yes, but ownself created lol.
Though I read the fine print TBH, I set an event reminder as an actionable on my schedule.

Have to be more careful next time lol.

@vsvs24 especially this is not a black box type event cos it was a invite and not a "first xxxx quantity" condition.

There's 3 months to participate where 1st month is 7 11 vouchers, 2nd is sheng siong. 3rd month is amazon. I only participated for the sheng siong one. Not sure if this is targeted promo. Good to know you also in this. Will give a shout if i received.

I think this promo is targeted customers only (app push notification). In your case, I don't think GXS will push this invite to you.

Tempted to fund on last day but the "1st xx " is hindering. Especially they didn't state clearly how many..
