Low is how low? You can try to find 2nd hand 7750 from the market place. You'd probably be better off with the IGP than the 2 cards you listed.

I've just done a quick check (you probably should have done that yourself lol). Turn out the GT640 is a much better card, almost as fast as the new AMD HD7730. Btw why don't you use your IGP, assuming you're using the Biostar 790GXE mobo?

Of all low profile cards, nothing beats the performance of the HD7750. Next one to consider will be a GT640.

Actually, how close is the performance of the HD7730 vs the GT640? I think the former will still perform much better due to the faster GDDR5 used. GT640 is highly limited by its memory bandwidth due to the use of DDR3.

But yeah, between the 2, GT640 and HD6450, the GT640 still is a better choice for me.

There you go Review: Nvidia Gainward GeForce GT 640 Rev 2 (GK208) - Graphics - HEXUS.net - Page 4

How reliable that site is, I'm not sure, don't frequent it.

Which i5 you're using? Most of the recent i5 have IGP as well.
