Log in your CPF and u will see.

If u don't sell your house, then no need to put back
but when u decide to sell, you need to "vomit" everything back all the accrued interest and principal

No one cares about the accured interest in CPF. It is still your money add to your retirement cpf in the end.
You are paying yourself the interest so why scared?
That why edmw cannot be finance forum for so long lol

actually u go your singpass app, log in, under finance, go housing, cpf housing withdrawal can see your total accrued interest..

if i’m not wrong u need to repay that amount( accred int + principal ) if you were to sell and buy new hdb next time..

But if so suay until sell at market value but yet not enough to cover amount required to go back then can request for waiver.

If the selling price after paying your outstanding home loan is not enough to cover the required CPF refund, you do not need to top up the shortfall in cash if you sold the property at market value.

faster clear .. lesser accred interest payable in the long run..(actually only concern those who plan to move house in future)

if you dont plan to sell then just use monthly cpf from your job to slowly pay off hdb loan

Not really out of own pocket, it just gets deducted from the sales proceeds when you sell. Like what @Gixxerfied shared above, if you sell at or above market value and still not enough, can request for waiver

If you not going to sell, not an issue at all

Actually if you don't want to accumulate accrued interest fast, just slowly slowly pay. The early you use more cpf to pay the more time accrued interest gets to compound

Not every one is cash rich enough to use all cash to pay for the mortgage.

Every cpf dollar used is every cash saved for other investments with better returns
