Really haaa...was considering that then reviews say too muddy... Which I don't like my brainwaves R1 for... But I can't compare it to a 200$ set... I will audition that too.

Can look at Astrotec Ax7 and Vsonic VC1000. Much hoo-ha and galore abt these 2 at Headfi. Also available at the place you going to audition R50 and GR07. I am also considering between the above models

hmm, if 215 too muddy for u then can go for gr07mk2.
But i doubt the gr07 will suit the genres u listen to.

Do agreed that EPH100 is a good set of upgrade for Brainwavz R1. Bassy with good soundstage and above avg clarity that is warm and fun to hear with. My fren just got 1 too. Positive reviews except lack of pouch to keep it for a iem at $180.

Quite good on both clarity and bass... =) fast paced lows and pretty balanced details

sorry stereo, beg to differ on this.

frankly, if you are more into clarity than bass and fancy the sol republic tracks, only the ultra will do for you, the rest are really craps including the tkdk.
