hi any recommendation for earphone that is decent for long flight usage ?

i do not need noise cancellation type as i believe it will be very expensive , i'm ok with the in-ear type earphone.

my main concern will be "blocking" the engine sound.

budget around $100+

thanks !

Looking for new headphone to replace my ba 200
Purely used for listen to music on my ipod touch.
Balllad mp3
IEM
Good sound isolation because I take public transport daily and build quality especially wires.. Don't wanna spend time going for repairs and replacement. Would prefer not to have an extension cable as these tend to be the first to go.

Have you tried the Shure SE215 SPE, Westone UM Pro 10 and for easier wearing that doesn't needs to be worn over the ear, you can check out one of our popular models, the JVC FX-T90. This currently has a special price promotion of $168 (usual $209). The first two models have detachable cables and are to be worn over the ears. You can replace them in case it got spoil over period of time. Do visit us to check on our special walk-in promotions as well. :)

Only that it's not foldable, the Sennheiser HD201 suits well for the requirements that you have. Do check them out in either of our stores. ;)

AKG-K551 Headphone on stereo's setember promotion has its' price reduced from 399.90 to 199.00.

I'm a newbie to the headphone world and i've read reviews about k551 apparently it isn't as good when compared to hd598/558.

Having a budget of around 200 do you think K551 is a good buy? or would it be more worth it to buy HD518 instead?

Looking for a good pair of earphones to last me for years.

- Your rig: Android phone
- What type of usage: Music and Movies
- File format used in your source: mp3, mpeg4, youtube
- Genre of music you listen to: All
- Headphone / earphone type: IEM (I actually have no idea what this means, but everyone's asking for it)
- Other requirements: Good bass, but not overly strong. Sturdy (my previous earphones wires are frayed and broken due since they are often kept in a earphone pouch)
- Budget: < $250
