Hope don't mind that I'm not following format.

Read a lot of reviews and I want to get sennheiser ie80 because of the wide soundstage and nice bass, but looking at stereo website it is out of my budget and amazon doesn't ship them to singapore

Any alternatives for ~$400 that have a wide soundstage and good bass?

If you can extend the budget bro, JVC FX850 is one of the good options. Do check them out in either of our stores and audition them as well.

My question here may be quite different from the rest. I am looking for a good set of noise isolating headphones; primarily not for listening to music, but to block out aircraft noise.

I live in the Punggol area, which is full of low flying military aircraft. They tend to emit those low rumbling type of noises. Unfortunately they pass overhead once every 2-3mins, so I can't really get those active-noise cancellation types. My wish is to get a type of headphones to block out as much noise as possible.

Indeed it is the weirdest request I saw.
Why need so much you are not working in a air field.
Either a ear-plug or industry grade headphone that is
used in construction.
For this type of headphones, best to go those shops selling
raw metal and get from them or check RS online.
The noise maybe still there even with regular or such headphone.
Headphone that is used in Air lines I have no idea whether is it
even possible to purchase them.
Btw I speak from my own experience as air craft have a crazy noise db. level.

Samsung Note 3 & iPod nano can't drive very powerful
headphone in my test.
Preferly headphones with less than 24 ohms will be ideally,
anything more you may need a cheap amp.
There are few Sennheiser which you can buy for use
with your devices.
Try them at sennheiser showroom or stereo Singapore to
see which one is compatible with your devices.

Tried the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro before and felt that it is really balanced, find that the Audio Technica M50 a little too much on the highs and didn't like the clamping force. Tried the Sony MDR-1R but find that it is very muddy despite being quite comfortable to wear. Any other suggestions?
