Agreed on Audio Technica ATH-IM70 and you can compare together with JVC FXT208SE.

Try the Shure SE215SPE and Audio Technica ATH-IM70. If over the ear is not that necessary, check out JVC FXT208SE as well. Both Stereo stores have the audition unit for these models.

I myself has a pair of this and I've been using it for almost a year and a half but still no problem.. In our stores, our audition units are being used by a lot of different customers, but still alive and kicking. IEMs also need that extra TLC I guess.

Used before Monster turbine pro copper and urBeats, Beats by Dre, clarity and bass is there but not tangle free and not that durable.

Used before Klipsch X7i, found it durable (due to ceramics), tangle free, comfortable, clarity is there but lacked in the bass department. D:

Hope to find something like the X7i but with more bass.

Sorry for listing so many requirements, I am quite picky when it comes to IEM...

if i can ask other questions, i bought a sennheiser 598 hd combined with my fiioe10k, it doesn't sound good at all..in games it's like horrible, i feel my sennheiser mx271 does a better job and for music isn't as good which i read that it's extremely good for music.. very very disappointed... i don't know if there's smth wrong with my setup or not :O. my setup PC > Fiioe10k > sennheiser 598hd, i on bass and gain on H.

Sorry about not stating my budget. I've been using the Westone 4Rs for the last 25 months but their warranty just ended and my right monitor isn't working anymore. I guess some sweat got into it. I heard that since it's out of warranty, Westone might offer me an upgrade to a W40 with 1 year warranty for $250USD. Should I go with that, or should I try something else? I do enjoy the sound of my 4Rs quite a bit.

Also, not sure if it's worth mentioning but I sweat a lot, and I occasionally use my earphones at the gym.
