need a recommendation for a portable solution

My current portable go-tos are um pro 30s, at home using a lcd2 with a tube amp.

I am currently deciding between getting the Westone Bluetooth cable to go with my um 30 pros, or a Audeze Sine which hopefully sounds somewhat like a lcd2.

Can't decide between the both, so would like to hear some opinions.

I am a treble lover. Not a fan of bass. Currently switching between Jaybirds X2 and Sennheiser Momentum on-ear (these are not mine but I get to use them at work). I am eyeing Audio Technica's m40x at the moment but is looking to see if there are better options. I tried both the m40x and m50x and prefer the little brother. I find the m50x lacks clarity when compared to the m40x.

I also am a treble guy, always have been. Audio Technica has always been my go-to brand but they've been moving toward bass-heavy headphones. I've been to Stereo to try out their M40 and M50 models but neither of them have been that great (compared to my old AT cans). I've since switched to the cheaper but clearer UrbanEars Plattan ADV. I just won't pay twice its price for a rather muffled set of cans from AT. I recommend you to try even if the design looks kinda kiddy.

MDR-1000X you mean? That is more for music, wireless, outdoor usage and calls.
It cost $599, doubt it can fit your budget.

I also feel kind of waste since some of it's feature you won't be using it.
For your usage, noise cancellation is not really necessary since it is home usage.
Can consider decent gaming headset with mic like:
Sony Gold Wireless Headset - $149
Or
Sony new Platinum Wireless headset - However this one no idea when will it come to SG or what is the pricing be like.

Since you are playing games and watching movies you will want that surround effect.
Sony Headset can also listen to music, I have two sets since I have two PS4 both playing games, movie and music.
No issue, however for these headset I doubt there's a place for you to test.
Maybe Sony Store or gaming store?
For such a price and decent gaming sound I will recommend you that over the MDR-1000X.

Other options will be home wireless headsets.
BTW if you mention you have a DAC, what model is this DAC?

The Sony Gold headset is a decent surround + music worth you to try.
However if you planning to bring it overseas, I do not know
whether people will think you are some hardcore gamer cuz on each side got PS logo.

I still suggest you to get one indoor headphone and other for outdoor.
Either MDR-1000X but I doubt you will need your DAC cuz itself it sound pretty decently.

Update: I tried them (UrbanEars Plattan ADV). Didn't really like the sound. On top of that they are on-ears which are not as comfortable.

Tiny review: I tried a couple of headphones and it ended up a battle between Audio Technica m40x and Audio Technica MSR7. The m40x sounds better with faster paced songs but are not as sharp as the MSR7s. The MSR7 on the other hand sounds nicer with slower paced songs but tend to be a little over the top in the highs. Overall the MSR7 performs better but not really worth the 150 price jump (m40x retails at $128, MSR7 retails at $278). Further more I tested both using equalisers and the m40x is able to match the sound of the MSR7 with equaliser while the MSR7 sounds harsh with equaliser. So basically i am going to save the $150 and use it on upgrades instead. Looking for replacement ear pads next.
