Hi bros,

Need some help on getting a good headphone.
My old one Remax 500HB (house warming gift) ear cushion is peeling.
The sound quality is not great to be honest.

I tend to use it for watching late night movies/dramas/Football, rarely for music on Spotify etc.

- Your rig: Pairing with Sony 9000F series TV for home use only
- What type of usage: Netflix, Movies/Dramas/Football on other sources
- File format used in your source: Netflix & mostly 1080 movies and dramas
- Genre of music you listen to: Spotify
- Headphone / earphone type: headphone
- Budget: max $300
- Requirement: Bluetooth, no latency in audio when watching movies/dramas, competent in sound effects, comfy, ANC is not necessary.

I did some research and imo, Sony WH-1000XM4 is a very good headphone. I managed to get it for $354 at Shopee when it goes on Flash Deal and I use the $20 discount voucher from Shopee. Original price was $399. I usually research based on my interest which is watching movies and listening to music.

Point noted that max for you is $300 so maybe you can consider Bose QuietComfort 35 II. I had a hard time deciding between XM4 and QC35 II as the latter is in fact better in terms of sound quality (imo) but I went with XM4 because of the other features and specs. I will tweak the Equalizer in Sony's app and that will improve the sound quality by quite a lot. Getting it at below $300 is possible with a combination of the right vouchers. Hope this helps.

You mean a bluetooth 5.0 dongle so that you can pair the headset with another device?

What device you wanna pair the headset with? Laptop? PC or a speaker?
There are different types of BT dongles, depending on the device

Hey guys, I'm looking for a wireless headset to replace my ATH-M50X + Modmic combo.

Headset has been with me for 7 years already, haven't gotten a proper headset for gaming because I like the sound profile and appreciate the build quality of this headphone.

However recently my modmic is experiencing some issues. I'm looking to get a proper headset now as my friends have been complaining about my modmic's volume and quality.

Looking for a good replacement, one that can easily swap earpads as I believe these wear out the quickest(replaced mine 3 times already). Good sound profile (or at least close to M50X) and wireless because less hassle.
