Head/earphones Recommendations Thread

hey all.
a while back i received a recommendation for the creative aurvana live.
im using a clip+ (rockboxed)
and i listen to mostly pop, r&b and classical.
have been holding out my purchase and seeing alot more of other recommends, such as
fischer audio fa-004 and beyerdynamic dtx501p.
i was seeking comfort, and now im wondering how do the creative stack up against these two and others. because they kinda look better than the creative too? :X yes im looking for comfort too, but hope the phones can look nice too yea?

You can try the audio-technica CK313i =) are you using for iPod or iPhone? Digital volume control only works for them

Sound quality and comfort quite hard to beat the Aurvana Live. =) beyerdynamic DTCX501p sound comes close to the Aurvana Live. =)

You can consider the new UE900 which is up for a pre-order promotion. Another alternative is the Denon C400 =)

If you go slightly above you can also try the Westone UM3x as well =)

Hi thanks for the reco. Other than ue400vm, any other reco? Im currently using ue600vi for my iphone and its spoilt only after 7mths of usage.

thanks again! does the mic and volume control work for samsung phone? cuz it says volume ctrl doesnt work with the extension on.

CKM500is is using a analog volume control which is like a resistor on the earphones itself for adjusting volume =) so it will work.

Only the ones that directly control the phone's volume won't work.
