- Your rig (Galaxy S3)
- What type of usage (music)
- File format used in your source (does not matter)
- Genre of music you listen to (Mandarin & English pop)
- Headphone / earphone type (In-ear earphones)
- Other requirements (If possible, noise cancellation due to in-flight usage)
- Budget (<$300)

Is Denon AH-C300 a good buy? Does it have an Android version?

For iem can try gr07, tdk ba200, brainwavz B2. These are slightly over $200. But very worth it imo.

Pruss huan, pruss huan and.. Last huan a little bright for me

That's a tad disappointing - I've tried two of those and I wasn't exactly impressed. I guess I'll stick to circumaural headphones and go for the ATH-M50s/LE that I originally intended on getting first instead and think about OEMs later. Thanks anyway.

That's a shame, I had M50 and BA200 at the same time and hardly used the M50s..

- Your rig :pc (foobar) -> odac+o2 (upcoming, currently udac2+hifiman ef2)
- What type of usage: music
- File format used in your source: alac
- Genre of music you listen to: pop, rock
- Headphone / earphone type: headphones only, closed or open ok
- Budget: <2.6k

My current cans are Grados. PS1000 (with HDP) at home and Hf2 (with above) in office.

I'm intending to replace the HF2 in office; or bring the PS1000 to office and replace the home cans with something comparable.

I enjoy the Grado sound and they are well suited to the genres I listen to. So short of getting another set of PS1000, what would you recommend that I try out as alternatives?

denon d7000 or beyer t1/t90?

Don't have but the mic should be able to support most newer android models =)

Overall better balance the UE600vi would be good but no detachable cable. Good thing is that the UE600vi has a mic and volume control.

What are your requirements? There are many many other choices in the $200 price range. Don't limit yourself to just three (or is there a reason why you shortlisted these three?)

Well its a gift for a lady so need to have some well known brand rather than the techie brands.

If going for brand I think Bose got the more WOW factor when others hear about it.

BOSE - IE2 or Denon AH-C710 or Harman Kardon AE
The other 2 seems to be well-known enough. Just want to do a quick comparison.

Been using different Sony earphones (?fontopia, etc) since school days then downgraded to cheap random $9.90/19.90 ones cos always forgot earphones, hence keep one at home/office/bag. Considering investing more now for better sound quality.

- Your rig: PC speaker(Creative Gigaworks T40) & Samsung Galaxy S2
- What type of usage: Music & Movies
- File format used in your source: MP3 & AVI/MP4/MPG/MKV/WMV
- Genre of music you listen to: Almost all genres
- Headphone / earphone type: IEMs
- Other requirements: volume amplifier would be a bonus but not necessary
- Budget: S$200
