Hi kaixax555,

thanks for e recommendation. I actually have dat headphone.
but i find that the audio control keep giving me problem.

what you do think of Pioneer HDJ-500? since not alot of headset is foldable or portable.

I can only think of Sennheiser PX-200-II off my head as a small, affordable and portable can... though no detachable cable lol...

On the other hand for an IEM, a little more can buy BA200, which can shorten itself by removing the extension cable to connect to mic, bluetooth, etc., though some people would not like the large y-split

Hi Bros, Really need some recommendations.

Comtemplating getting the Bose AE2 due its light weight and comfort ear paddings.

- Rig (mp3 players, creative sound card for desktop)
- What type of usage ( gaming/ music )
- File format used in your source (mp3)
- Genre of music you listen to (pop)
- Headphone / earphone type (Around ear)
- Other requirements( Light and comfortable around the ears)
- Budget (200)

I saw Taobao selling some but i think those are not comparable to the original ones.

Personally like the UE4000 but a few of those models you have shortlisted has a detachable cable which is a plus point. If comfort is a key point, go for the SRH440, HD439 and also the UE 4000.

I'm looking to purchase the Sennheiser HD 202. Anyone tried using it? How's the bass response?

I strongly only recommend the srh440 only if u do EQ-ing, and looking for real balance headphones, listen a very wide range of genres. It will be worth every penny, and take note that these aren't comfy, these are heavy headphones and the ears touch the drivers of the headphones and it hurts overtime. Can be fixed by replacing the 840pads though. Isolation is above average.

I've tried the HD439 and athpro500 too, in terms of technical ability i don't think they are anywhere near the shures.

Yeah, stereo is a great place.. never liked auditioning earphones in other places. It just feels awkward and makes me leave =P.

I like auditioning in Stereo as well, at least giving us space to audition and helping us when we need it, helps us make more informed choices :o
