Hi guys just checking.

Rig: iPod 5.5 + e11
Usage: Music
Genre: Various
Type: IEM
Other req: Nothing
Budget 150

My TF10 died, i really love the sound sig of the tf10, the punchy bass most notably.

With a small budget of 150, do i get a 2nd hand tf10 or would there be alternatives. My drivers are okay but reshelling is too expensive, and i like having universals around so i can share my music.

Thanks!

hmmm BA200 would be a pretty nice choice given that it is short enough without an extension cable for an adapter with built in mic and volume controls (dunno if got such thing, if not i dun mind buying)

can check out the ue400vi and ue600vi before they are gone. 400vi is $109 and 600vi is $139. "vi" is with mic/vol/remote to use with your i-device. non-vi is plain earphones at $10 cheaper respectively. i think there's a "vm" for other phones but may not be common. 400 is dynamic driver, 600 is single BA driver. both sound excellent in their own right and imo they are way too underrated.

they have been around for quite a long time but i only tried them recently and fell in love with them instantly. level of detail may not win the other high end phones but everything else is just done so nicely-right. most importantly, they are not sibilant at all. i tried the ue700 and while it has more energy than the ue600, unfortunately i experienced some sibilance and didn't really like it. i bought the 400 and probably will hoot the 600 soon. :o

i have the ba200 and personally i think it is way overrated, probably partly due to the huge hype sometime back when it was going for ~$150 during promotion. many bought, including me. but after more proper listening sessions i found it just mediocre. weak bass, not very realistic treble and overall just sounded "frail".

but of course, sound is subjective and everyone hears music differently. above is just my opinions. try all of them for yourself and then decide ba. :)

psst... btw if you are interested in a used ba200 (look at my sig), you know what to do... :D

Went to stereo's website and saw that the CAL looks pretty decent and specs not bad too. Btw I was referring to comparing beyerdynamics DTX501p and shure SRH550.

Bose AE2 is priced at $219 on the site, a little off my budget of $150.
