It should be genuine. You have to understand it costs money for shipping and stuff. If you can buy online on your own, do it.

Else for convenience, Stereo is the place for you to go. They're friendly, they know their stuff (most of them).

Who knows? You might find something else better sounding there!

Hmm ok . I got no time to go down and its a lot cheaper to ship it. So which is better? Q460 or DTX501p? Let's just say which is more recommended. Thx for the fast reply man.

I would say DTX501p for a better balance. :)

Stereo which is the best deal for in ear headphone with the budget of 200 dollar?:)
What kind of sound do you prefer?

We have the TDK BA200, the Shure SE215 LTD blue. :o

First let me say that I have no experience with the DTX501p. I have however, owned a pair of Q460's and the sound was just bad. Has a 'boxey' sound to it. Hence I'd go with Stereo's recommendation for the DTX, I love my V-Moda's though (upgrade from the Q460's).

Still, give both headphones a chance, what might be good sounding to you may not be good sounding to me. Let's be fair. Audition both before you decide :)

So i get balanced armature while my friend get dynamic? I thought most ppl prefer dynamic :/ the advantage of balanced armature it is because of the clear crisp sound only?

Go try them out and see which one you like. Earphonesolutions has a 25% off for today.

It's not so black and white, must see how they're tuned also..

In this case, BA200 has a very enjoyable sound IMO :D

Hi fellows. Just curious: are the ES2 cables used by Westone IEMs considered "memory-free"? Because although the cables are quite soft & floppy upon purchase, I noticed the cables do retain a bit of the curls & twists if they are coiled for regular storage. I also noticed the cable harden significantly on my UM1 which I used for running...

So can I say the ES2 cables are not entirely memory-free (although not as bad as the old TF10P) & definitely not sweat-resistant?

I coil them using the over and under method to prevent the memory effect but the ES cables really way lesser memory effect. =)
