Thanks for your recommendation, how much was the EPH-100 when you purchased it? How would you compare the S4 to the EPH-100?

Quite warm sound with decent bass performance for its price if not wrong. Don't have that model anymore but roughly remember the sound

Can consider 7H which we have for demo =) Turtlebeach and Astro not bad too, if you have true 7.1 surround soundcards can look at Razer Tiamat

and also which is more worth of the money. i dont want to be just paying for the brand.

Sounds like the Creative EP830 is the choice for you, the beyerdynamic DTX41iE has the right balance compared to the other two. ATh-CKM55 is more on clarity

The most popular in terms of SQ would be the ANC23 and the SHN4600 =) They all perform rather well for noise cancelling

Looked at the Battle of Sub-$80 earphones thread and surfed the net. So far, Brainwavz Beta, Fischer Audio Marcus and a-Jays One seem not bad?

Considering your budget, and judging that you liked clarity, you can consider to get house of marley: smiling jamica instead of the a-jays one. For that model, it is tuned more towards the bassy side, clarity wise, not so much. I'm not pretty sure about the other models you have named, but a-jays, definitely not very clarity friendly to me.
