Your rig: Iphone 5
- What type of usage music & movies
- File format used in your source Mp3 from itunes match & AVI
- Genre of music you listen to Dance & rock
- Headphone / earphone type IEM
- Other requirements At least 1.3-1.5m long cable with L or Non- straight jack
- Budget $200
Westone 1 but price is $219, can also try the TDK BA700 =)

Hi, pls recommend some IEMs for my requirements.

Rig Sansa Clip+
Type of usage: Music only
File format: 320kbps mp3
Genre of music: rock/metal mostly.
Budget: Max $150

Currently using Beyerdynamic DTX100 for 1.5 years.. It is generally good but I find has slightly too much mids and thus very fatiguing to my ears. Also would prefer a wider soundstage than the DTX100. I do not like those with too much treble/sibilance though.

Thanks
Fischer Audio Consonance is around the price =)

S2/ipad
Listen to pop rock
iem
Budget around 70-80
JVC FX40 =)
Stereo your one stop headphones and earphones store in Singapore

Hello!
Newbie here.

Actually I am not really looking for earphone recommendation. For below 50sgd, for me Soundmagic is the best bet already (and for some nostalgic reasons). Besides, I am also hooked to Vsonic and Sunrise - their products are really good! Although I actually sell Rock-It-Sounds (US Brand), which is pretty good too, not as famous as the other brands tho.

I was actually wondering if there's anyone here who can help me to recommend what would be the songs that are perfect to "test" earphone easily for each range of freq (bass, vocal, and trebble) ? English song preferred..

Thanks guys and hope you welcome me to the group here

Welcome and best to test with different songs. :)

Can try out these few songs to test with
Bon Jovi - Its My Life
Whitney Houston/Mariah Cary - When You Believe

For bass wise you can go for techno/trance songs.

I would use Glitch Mob - Android Porn (yes its a song) :o

Hey guys,

OT abit. Bought my first DJ/Monitor headphone recently however these audiophile headphones do not come with volume control. I needed such control so I can have easy access to adjust the volume for my daily use since I am using soundcard instead of DAC/Amp. By adding such volume control unit, will it affect the sound quality?

Many thanks.

Thanks for the input. By the way, any decent 6.3mm extension cable to recommend as my stock cables are not long enough.

It can be used to test the speed of the song as well that's why I use it but there are other songs that can do it too :)

We do not have 6.3mm extension cables but you can visit Sim Lim Tower to see if they have it. :)

It should be a bluetooth model but depends on what size the headphone is. Did you see it under our website?

- Your rig (Sansa Clip+ *rockbox'ed)
- What type of usage (Music)
- File format used in your source (Mp3)
- Genre of music you listen to (Everything, but prefer to get one to cater for Pop and R&B)
- Headphone / earphone type (IEM)
- Other requirements (-nil-)
- Budget ($100>)
But may consider going over the budget.

Currently after some researching I was thinking of these:
Sound MAGIC E10/E30 [but don't like the over the ear method ): ]
JVC FX40

Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks in advance!

The ASG-1.2 is very exceptional in reproducing that 'live concert' feeling. Although there are others with better technicalities, I have yet to found another IEM that produces such feeling. Price is $349.
