Hi i recently tested hd-25 and klipsch image one and i loved both but i loved klipsch more due to comfort and casing given and priced reasonably. Was just wondering if anyone can recommend something similar beforeni make a purchase. If got noise cancelling will be better too. Budget not anything more than the overpriced hd-25s. Im using sony walkman z for now. Thanks in advance !

- iPhone 4
- Music Usage
- Mp3 Format
- Mix Music
- In ear Earpiece type
- With Mic preferably
- Below $100

Is there recommendation for the above specification?
Using A-Jay Two (Dead already)

Currently i am leaning towards SoundMagic E10 because of its red design. Is the sound comparable to A-Jay two? or other recommendation thx!

E10 is pretty good other than that you might also want to look at the audio-technica CKM500is for your phone. =) Comes with a mic too

$150-180 : Rock It Sounds R-50 (find at treoo.com or multi5enses.com)
$200 (or maybe more?): Vsonic GR-07 (find at lendmeurears.com)

Never try sennheiser cx870 before, but i think it should be more "bass leaned" as compared to the above. But the above are definitely more superior than cx870, imo.

There are some - I suppose material - issues with GR07 that I'm not sure if it has been fixed with the latest version.

Over time some green gunk grows on the swivelling thingies. Fired a email to delonic (lendmeurears) but no reply thus far.

The biggest issue with the mkI has always been the cable. The mkII uses a new cable which is much more durable. Oxidation will still occur (duh).

Been using my UM1 for about 5 years now. I was thinking of doing a upgrade as i feel the bass in UM1 is not that strong. Anyone got any to recommended?

I am using a mp4 player with a fiio E6 amp. Wish to change to something that has at least the same clarity but stronger bass as compare to UM1.

I saw people are talking abt getting UM3X. was wondering should i stick to weststone or get other brand?

I use it for movies and listen to all kind of songs except heavy metal. Think my budget would be $300 - $500.

Thanks

Hi, looking for headphones with closed back (no sound leaks) budget about $150 - $250.

Doesn't need to be folded, as I'm using it mainly as desktop companion to my speakers. Will be using a DAC + AMP setup in the future.

Would prefer a sound signature that's something like UM2 (Which I think is musical sounding?) or even GR07.

Is AKG K141 MKII a good choice?

Thanks!

150-200 if you exceed a little for 209 you can look at the JVC FX-T90 =)

How about the UM2? I would recommend the UM3x if you can stretch but do try it out first.

The K141 MK II is semi open so sound might leak out =) You can consider the audio-technica M50 instead for a closed back headphone

Is there any diff in W3 and UM3x? Realise they are in 2 different categories when i search their website.

U use before TF10 or W3?
Its based on different tuning normally the UM3x is tuned more for monitoring =)

TF10 pro is more recessed in the mids whereas the W3 is more recessed on the highs and have pretty heavy bass. =)
