Hi, new to headphones here. I am thinking of getting a headphone for gaming purposes and perhaps for watching shows on my rig's on-board soundcard and perhaps mp3 on smart phone (not really important). Open to all type of headphones and preferably less than $100. any recommendation?

You can try the Turtle Beach M5 headphone

At $59, it's quite a steal for its performance. :)

AIAIAI TMA-1 vs Sennheiser HD25 1-II vs Sennheiser Amperior vs V-Moda Crossfade LP2

Thank you :)

much appreciated!

prog house, electro house, tech house, techno, house, deep house, trance, dubstep, dnb, indie dance, nu disco, top40/pop, rock

cheers :)

Sennheiser HD25 1-II
- Overall pleasing sound
- Detailed mids (clear and neutral)
- Punch bass, good impact
- Highs is sparkly but can be too edgy for some

Sennheiser Amperior
- Similar sound to the HD25 1-II with cleaner highs
- Bass more well controlled, slightly more deep bass

AiAiAi TMA1
- Good bass texture
- Balanced sounding, slightly bass shy
- Most balanced sound signature and highly recommended for pop songs but good with trance/electro too ;)

Lastly, we do not have the VMODA LP2 so we stated with the M100 instead, price at $430. :o
VMODA M100
- Best soundstage amongst the 4 models
- Clean and deep bass
- Great clarity and detail

Amongst the four models, I would say the TMA1 or the M100 suits your genre of music wise. :)

Help please :). Looking for a new IEM for my note 2. Want an inline mic/control and hopefully good durability as I throw my earphones into the bag quite alot.

- Your rig (mp3 players, amps, soundcard etc) - Galaxy Note 2
- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc) - Music
- File format used in your source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc) - mp3
- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc) - Soundtracks, rock and pop mostly
- Headphone / earphone type (closed, open, cirumaural, IEM etc) - IEM
- Other requirements (if any) (mic, volume control, 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc) - inline mic and control
- Budget (in figures) - ~100-130

- Good bass rumble
- Decent mids
- The volume control is an analog one for Android devices, digital volume control works mostly on Apple devices. ;)

Hi I am looking for AKG headphones which will provide good bass/vocalclarity as loudness & detailed vocals as priority, with background music.

- Your rig (mp3 players, amps, soundcard etc) : Samsung Smartphone/MP3, old school Sony CD walkman, play on laptop too
- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc) : Music & Movies
- File format used in your source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc) : MP3,MP4,AVI, orignal CD,movie DVD & concert DVDs
- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc) :Jpop, Hip Hop,Soft Rock
- Headphone / earphone type (closed, open, cirumaural, IEM etc) :Closed/Open
- Other requirements (if any) (mic, volume control, 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc): Looking for full size open headphones with high impedance
- Budget (in figures) : 250-600 SGD preferably

I am very keen in AKG K702 and read many many great reviews. What is your take? Im just a music-consumer looking for studio-quality in music.
Currently own Sennheiser PX200 II,good for its price but lacking.
