Oops I think I say wrongly, I meant 'open' earphones (are there such things?), like non in-ear kind.. Or are in-ears better?

We do have regular earbuds =) in-ear usually better isolation and fit =)

Some models are meant to be open for in-ears model generally used to give a wider soundstage

That's a lot of earphones that you have already. How about trying the UM customs tomorrow in our store? There's the PP6 to try out.

i have actually tried the Westone 1 before, didnt like the sound from it thats why i went for UE..

I see... UE not much choices for their lower end stuff now. Maybe will release new models? =)

The super.fi 5 pro was a good model that they had. =(

You can try the audio-technica CKS77 =)

Another model that suits pop and alternative you can try out the SOL REPUBLIC Amps comes with flat cable and mic =)

They have an adapter for converting to a separate audio and mic cable for PC use =)
