Hi all, would definitely appreciate some recommendations so that I'm able to test out a few to decide what to get.:)

- Your rig : Iphone5/Note2
- What type of usage : Mostly for casual listening while travelling.
- File format used in your source (mp3,aac,flac)
- Genre of music you listen to : Quite a wide genre. Alternative, rock/pop mandopop, blues, metal & some hiphop/rap?
- Headphone / earphone type : IEM
- Other requirements : preferably RC as I'm quite prone to damaging them so might to want replace the stock cable to a better one.
- Budget : $700-$800
- Previous earphones : UE700,Westone Um1,UM2.

Thanks! :D

I would say the CKM500 slightly more balanced sounding for my ears but the J33 give a overall more crisp sound. :)

Since you have been using the Westone UM series why not the UM3x? :s22:

You can pm us for the in-house promotion for that too! :) Other than that, UM wise best for you to try it out and you can try out the UM Aero too. :o Performs quite well for a 3 drivers at $699 for customs.

My trusty Sennheiser CX300-II just died after a few years of usage :(

Any recommendations on similar sound quality earphones (not more than $150)?

TIA

- Your rig - iPhone 4S with Fiio E11
- What type of usage : music
- File format used in your source : mp3 320
- Genre of music you listen to : most kinds of genre from mainstream, acoustic covers, pop, rock to EDM, trance, dub step and hard style.
- Headphone / earphone type: In-ear monitor
- Other requirements (if any) : Great sub bass and bass. I upgraded from my dynamic drivers Atrio M5 to finally trying BAs. Bought the UE 900. Love the sound quality and soundstage for the more mainstream and acoustic songs for vocals, mids and highs. However still find lacking in bass compared to M5 for EDM and dubstep for my bass head urges. Looking at the Rooth Elpis with bass port. How is it compared to M5? Also am I able to reshell an M5? Would love to try customs for a change! But any other recommendations is welcomed! Not interested in the JVC triple drivers though :/
- Budget : 300-400 (No money for Merlin :( )

Thank You!
