Stereo have UM demos.

Number of drivers is one thing and how it sounds is another. =) If you can slightly stretch, the UM Aero at $699 not bad as well.

AKG K167 should suit your genre very well, balanced and powerful sound.

Indeed, and UM actually lowered the prices for their prices compared to the past when we worked with them.

hmmm...

BA200 or GR07 MKII would fit pretty well
IE800 is a nice choice too

if you find the MKII to lack bass impact that you like, try the GR07 Bass Edition

Thanks for all the recommendations guy. Sorry i went MIA for awhile. :s13:

I tried all the recommendations except EPH-100 cause i couldn't find it. At least when i went to Digi Lifestyle to ask about it they said that they didn't sell it anymore.

Compared between IE800, BA200 and Vsonic gr07,

I think i liked GR07 more as compared to the others. It kinda resemble the 'good parts' of my current earphones the most while improving on the bass and others.

But since my current earphones rose from the dead, i'm given more time to test and find the more perfect earphones i guess. :s13:

Just curious does anyone know whether i can reuse the comply foam tips that i am currently using on my UHP336, on the G07? :s22:

try gr07 bass edition.

Meh.. I tried both GR07 MKII and BE that day at PS. Wasn't impressed by the latter. The bass isn't that much better compared to the MKII and the singing signature of the MKII was not as prominent in the BE. If I have to get a bassy IEM the BE wouldn't be it.

The MKII is a FANTASTIC IEM for its price though, if you don't mind the (relatively) polite bass.

I think the difference for the BE lies on the very low sub-bass frequencies iirc.
It only brings out the deepness if the song calls for it.
