Looking to buy an IEM for wife when she travels for work.

- Your rig - iPod Touch
- What type of usage - Music
- File format used in your source - MP3, 192k
- Genre of music you listen to - Jazz and Instrumental
- Headphone - IEM, preferably not over-the-ears
- About $200

Thanks.

Heaven II | final-audio-design

These might do the trick if she listens to exclusively jazz/instrumental. The higher ranges of the Heaven series IMO does very well with acoustic/live records/instrumental. Haven't tried jazz on them. But they fall flat with contemporary pop and rock.

They'll be coming out in Jaben end September so can go get an audition! Retailing 128 only.

P.S. I'm quite sure she will love the looks too. :s13:

Appreciate your advice in advance!

- Your rig: iPhone

As mentioned by cancer81 you can consider the JVC FXZ200. There's also the B&W C5.

Looking for Headphone Only. Due to some personal reasons, I do not like to use earphone.

Your rig: Memopad HD 7
- What type of usage: Music, Dramas
- File format used in your source: Mp3
- Genre of music you listen to: Mostly chinese songs
- Budget: Maximum $100

I'm looking at this Creative Hitz MA2400 Headset for Mobile Phones - Creative Technology (Singapore) for use with my Memopad HD 7 and Laptop. Movies and Songs are my main purposes. Can anyone tell me whether if it's a good deal? I've checked out the JBL J55 as well but the Qoo10 dealer is left with the white model which I'm not so keen. Thank You
You can consider the Beyerdynamic DT501p also. Usual price is $129. Currently on promotion $99. Considerd by many as a bang for buck headphones. Ultra portable and comes with a carrying case.

You can let her try the JVC FXT90. Tried it before and find that it has a good clarity for jazz and instrumental music.

Durability will depend on how you use them. You can consider the Sennheiser HD201 as a starter headphones.

hi guys, apologies but i'm a total noob when it comes to ear/headphones hence need to ask here.

Basically i'm looking for a ear/headphone for tv/ps3, really just for gaming and movie since the output from my tv is kinda weak.

Anw i need it to be comfortable for spectacle users and possibly long period of usage. Also need to have a long cable cause i like to lay on my bed to watch tv which is about 3.5m away. Are there wireless options?

- Your rig (TV/ps3)
- What type of usage (Gaming/Movies)
- Ear/Headphone
- Budget Ard $100 (willing to top up a little for wireless if that's possible)

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

is that just as suitable for movies too? not sure if there's such a thing as gaming specific ear/headphones that sounds better for gaming than movie viewing in the first place.

Not sure if it might be too big for you but do consider the Audio Technica A500X.
