My UE600 died today.. bought it about 3 years ago from Stereo :) Any earphones to recommend? i am using Spotify daily via phone to listen to music. Need to squeeze onto trains every morning. Would you recommend a wireless one? if yes, which one? if not, which wired one will be on par or better than UE600 in terms of comfort and SQ? I like to wear it over ear :) thanks :)

You can check out the Shure SE215 SPE and Westone UM 10 Pro. These two models are meant to be worn over the ears and have detachable cables. In the packaging, they come with foam tips so you can also use for better comfort and isolation. If you will prefer wireless earphones, you can take a look at Jabra Rox which you can also use for sports as they are sweat resistant. Audition sets are available in both Stereo branches. :)

Anyone knows any ongoing promotion for Sony XBA H1? Tempted to get it cheap on Amazon but the idea of not having international warranty is holding me back. :s22:

Hi, hope to get some recommendations! :)

- Sansa Clip+
- Music
- Mostly mp3s
- A lil of k-pop, acoustics, rock
- Earphone, in-ear, doesn't matter if it's over ear or not
- Bass, clarity
- < 250

I currently own a pair of SE215, thinking of upgrading...

One of the great options you'll have is the JVC HA-FRD60. It has built-in microphone for hands free talking and a smart switch for compatibility for both Android and IOS. This model is also having an irresistible special price promotion of $49 (usual $109). You can also read the thread JVC Micro HD HA-FRD60 - Special Promotion to know more info. :) Audition sets are available in both stores.

Perhaps you can consider the popular model that we have which also suits your requirements which is the JVC FXZ100 that is now having a special price promotion of $238 (usual $299). I am actually using the Shure SE215 SPE but I find that the FXZ100 is more transparent and more details can be heard. As sound is rather personal, I suggest for you to try the demo first and be the judge. ;)

looking to upgrade from my futuresonics atrios to another higher tier IEM
needs to have quality bass, and being fun sounding rather than being too analytical.
I listen to everything ranging from EDM to post rock, classic rock, big beat and indie pop.

budget up to 500 bucks.. any recommendations? :D

One of the good choices will be the Woody series from JVC - FX650/ FX750/ FX850. As the two latter are out of stocks, maybe you can consider first the FX650 which is fairly good for the price especially now that this model is having a 20% off retail price for pre-order. But if you are not in a hurry, maybe you can try comparing them first and wait for their arrival. Other models which you can take a look at are the Westone W20 and the Ultimate Ears UE900. :)

Saw the promo list before reading your reply and was already tempted by FXZ100 hehe. Shall drop by soon when I'm free! Thank you! :) :)
