Check out V-MODA LP2 and Audio Technica ATH-M50X. Both of these models are circum-aura and closed back type of headphones. Good for outdoor use, not too bulky and have corresponding casings for better protection. Feel free to audition them first.

Didn't see that clearly. For IEMs, check out JVC FXT208SE, Audio Technica ATH-IM70 (if over the ear type is not an issue) and Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear.
