- For PC Usage, unsure of the 5.1/7.1 stuff
- Movies, gaming and music
- Looking for a headphone that doesn't have the pad that kinda peels off. Something like the foam type perhaps?
Microphone, cable long enough for PC, last one I used was for console gaming; wire was too short.
->$150

HyperX Cloud 2 gaming headset.
Cable is 1+2m long, total of 3m should be long enough for you.
Has velour earpads included too.
Price is ~$150 off Lazada.

Hi guys, would like to ask for sub $800 (max $1k) IEM to recommend;

Rig: X3 Gen 2 and a Fiio E11 ( i dont use them together currently )

Current IEM : Zero Audio Tenore (too bassy) and BrainWav S5 (less bassy but too colored and dark. Also dislike the flat cable)

Previously owned IEM: SE215 (sold to upgrade to IM03), AT-IM03 (sold).

Genes: Lots of pop/rock Live Music (e.g. Queen and Hong Kong Artiste), as i prefer the openness of the songs and atmosphere.

Source: Mostly FLAC and some DSD.

Previously IM03 has served me very well but sold it to fund other stuff.
now with some budget, would like to hear what other IEM i can opt for.
I'll be auditioning mainly at Jaben and since time is short, maybe got time to audition up to 3 IEMS.

For your recommendations pls.

Would recommend you check out Dita Answer.
It's quite an impressive IEM and it fits into your budget (for the non-truth edition).
Can be auditioned at E1.

Other notable iems within your budget are se535 and ie800.

Tks for your recommendation bro! I bought the twin from Stereo 2 weeks back and it is just awesome! My very 1st dual drivers iem 😁!

Fischer Audio has released the new Omega series. There are 3 models: The Ace is bass heavy, the Spark is treble clear, the Twin has 2 drivers for bass and treble.

Oh by the way, I forgot to compliment Stereo Vivo services. Very patience and allows me to try various earphone before deciding. Very honest and straight forward advises from their staff as well.
Highly recommend for people looking for earphones and headphones!

The form factor would be more impt than the drivers if u are wearing them for daily commute since comfort is ur priority i presume. The sound sig also needs to suit u. A qn with no proper answer unless u try them urself as their shape and size affects comfort with respect to ur own ears. Spend a few weekends trying out at jaben, e1.

that one quite exp ah... $260 sia.

is dual dynamic or single balanced armature driver better for general usage?

The Dunu DN-1000 has one of the best price-performance ratios in the sub $200 price range and is quite close to the upper end of your budget.
Would recommend you check it out nonetheless.
If waiting isn't an issue, LMUE has periodic sales every couple months (maybe CNY period)

With regards to dynamic vs BA, there is no 'better'.
For your sound preference however (music with good bass), I suggest you look towards dynamic driver/hybrid IEMs as dynamic drivers generally produce better bass.

Song brothers at funan have the dita for demo also, if you're going through the Jaben can also head by there to test the dita

Sorry for late reply bro. The omega twin was selling at $98 but I manage to buy at Christmas promo price at stereo which is $80 last month. The price is a stead for a dual drivers even it is at $98 consider the building, sound quality, accessories.. Comes with 1 year warranty. If I'm not wrong, there is a promotion for Sennehiser Momentum last month at Stereo. Not too sure whether it is still available.

I'm glad to hear that you prefer Omega Twin even after trying out other earphones at Stereo. Enjoy!

Hello all,

I went stereo to audition a couple of IEM
I am looking for not over ear cables
Hence after trying,
Marshall Mode EQ and fischer dublinz caught my ear
i like the sound of this 2 as it gives much more base but does not cover the audio.
Both are priced at 139.
(which one is more rugged so i can just put inside pocket XD)

Which one should i get?
