Hi bros

Looking to upgrade my CPU/Mobo & Casing. Last time i upgraded these was at least 5 years ago.

Am looking at the AMD Ryzens 3/5 and Fractal Design Cases. Looking to get "best bang for your buck".

Anyone in touch with the market care to drop some suggestions?

For those who dont really need to play PUBG at 1080p High or Ultra, all i have to say is wait for the Ryzen APUs (esp the 2400G)

ryzen 2 so far i dun think that its a APU though...its will be the same as ryzen without any gpu in it.

only if u get RB(Raven Ridge) den that is what u mean.

My assumption is that it's enough. But can't be sure until the product is out and reviewed.

If i could use intel 530 to watch 4K content..and some casual gaming at Fullhd

It will be a laughing stock if ryzen 2 couldn't.

To clarify things for all,

Current gen= Ryzen ( no IGP )
Upcoming April refresh= Ryzen+ ( no IGP )
Upcoming Ryzen w IGP = Raven Ridge

* IGP = integrated graphics

Ryzen 2 is not on the horizon yet...

2nd gen Ryzen or Zen+ (Pinnacle Ridge CPU) is targeted to launch April 2018. That's Q2. Q1 is the launch of Raven Ridge APU.

To clarify for those who don't know, Raven Ridge APU is based on 1st gen Ryzen (14nm) design while upcoming Pinnacle Ridge is a refined Ryzen architecture (12nm), namely Zen+ (or Ryzen 2 for some people who wanted to call it that way). Difference other than the architecture, is that APU comes with integrated GPU (like Intel) while CPU does not.
