But why ryzen5 2400g cheaper than ryzen 5 1600? Performance lose 1600 except it got igpu?

1600 is 6C/12T L3@16MB
2400G is 4C/8T L3@4MB
But 2400G memory speed is based @ 2933MHz.
(Now rams will cost more so justifiable? but if 2933 becomes "mainstream" will it get cheaper since kopilake is based on 2666 already)
Specs wise alone, there's pros and cons.
From an integrated GPU standpoint, it's awesome....
but from an upgrade standpoint, decisions get complicated there after.
I talk too much, back to work....

Monster hunter... sorry for the noob question :D

I bought some parts from amazon last black friday for a new rig but have not start as decided to do so when i move in about 3 months time... not sure if i should sell the parts and wait out... any advise?

Bought 1060 6gb (local), ryzen 1700, x370 rog strix and evga 650...

Sell the gpu. Cpu combo can also but quite hard. Psu can keep.

After 3-4 months, possibly can see nvidia Volta? (fingers crossed)

Most B350 and X370 already have their bios coming. ASUS one almost all have liao.

Those boards with BIOS supporting AGESA 1.0.0.7 will be ready for Raven Ridge APU.

Those boards with BIOS supporting AGESA PinnaclePI 1.0.0.0 will support further up to Zen+/2nd gen Ryzen chip.
