Help can't decide AMD or Intel Bundle

My last rig 6 year liao.
Which Mobo + CPU bundle is better for light gaming, movie, light Photoshop and video editing.
Not going to overclock, stability and quiet important.
ITX as space constraint.
Decide on both combination because price not much difference.
Will be using the on-board GPU first and add a graphic card later.

Option1: Asus ROG Strix H470-I Gaming + i5-10400
Option2: Gigabyte X570-I Aorus Pro Wifi + 3400G

If you can wait for Zen 2 apu, I highly recommend to do so. Else, rather you get a Zen 2 cpu + cheap external gpu first.

Can I ask why you chose x570 motherboard which costs more but bundled with a cheap cpu 3400g instead. It would make more sense to choose 3600 or higher.

for security and peace of mind avoid intel (meltdown,spectre) although patched some the codes is still inherent .Even as latest in mar 2020, it still vulnerable to lvl1 exploit,foreshadow .

X570 + 3400G doesn't seem right lol. Maybe can save some $ by getting B550i board + 3400G or x570i + 3600 for better performance?

I chose x570 because b550 price is expensive, almost same as x570. As I need ITX due to space constraints, I want to go with onboard GPU to reduce heat and noise as the case will be beside me.

X570i and B550i price only $20-$30 difference, that's why chose x570i.
Going with onboard graphic first to reduce noise and heat. Only will add a graphic card later when need more graphic process power.
