Help - Charged for defaulting IPPT/RT

Hi guys, I just received a letter from MINDEF ordering me to report to NSSC to answer a charge of "Neglecting to Perform A Lawful Duty".
I have some questions regarding this hope you guys can share your experience & help me thanks.

-What if i missed the date, further disciplinary action implies? court/db/fine?
-The letter also states to bring along any relevant docs, applies only if appealing?
-Roughly how much is the fine?
-Lastly, whats the procedure like? (what I need to take note of) and how long it will take?

Sibei suay..ORDed like 3 years ago and how come out of the effing blue they check my records..I just checked my ns portal and still I have no unit.
I only took my IPPT for my first window..have been skipping it since then due to sch commitments.

Dont you know skipping ippt is an offence? Didnt you complete myORD quiz?

I suggest you dont push your luck with your appearance.

First time is just a written warning. Second time will be charged to court.

Yes I know that skipping IPPT/RT is chargeable..
Im just asking for advice to handle this situation as this is my first time dealing with such an order.

Military uniform of course means smart 4 with beret. You still want to try your luck with your definition of smart CV? I think you turn up in CV, high chance it won't be just a warning

TS, you kena charge leh, and not kena invited for some event leh. they say military uniform then jolly well wear military uniform don't be funny ask can wear CV or not. at least just do what you've been told to show that you're somewhat remorseful.

oh and better wear beret also. they now very strict

It's is your duty to take your IPPT yearly. 365 days you cannot find 1 day to take is it?

I also kenna send to CMPB to lim kopi once. What happened was back then when SAF still sending SAF-100 to notify and remind us to go take IPPT. One year I chucked it aside and totally forgot about it. Then 2nd year I think, hmm, nothing happened so I tried my luck and ignore. 3rd year again I ignore. 4th year straight SAF-100 asked me go do RT followed by receiving the charge letter. I go CMPB and admit faults and said willing to follow-up on RTs and continue with RT/IPPT etc etc and the Discipline Office (I think also NS-man) looked up and me and say go. At the out-pro counter, the clerk help me book another RT and never asked me to pay so I asked no "fine"? He said this time no. From then on, I always take RTs and last 3 years I was taking IPT. Talk about that, my window going to open again in a month's time.

Don't bother giving any reasons. Just say sorry n u won't do it next time. Book your rt before u go. May escape with just a warning.

And if got long hair, better comb it properly.

Depends.

Chances are that they caught you because the system detected that you did not book IPPT.It might not have been due to you failing to book RT for a previous window.

Of course,there's a chance that they know about it and are charging you for it too.If they don't know and only charge you for IPPT,then good for you loh,lol!Hopefully they won't dig it up later.

vasili07 is right.When you go answer charge,don't contest it unless you got a good and valid reason.If you waste their time and piss them off,don't expect them to be lenient.

Time and again must remind all my fellow NSMen especially those newly orded studying in uni.......

If you need to do IPPT,don't skip out on it just because you currently don't have a unit.FCCs have plently of people doing RT yet don't even have a reservist unit.

Kana once b4 last time. went to answer charge in CV during lunchtime. was asked to go back. The answer they gave me was tht, the JDO cannot charge a person in CV

Hey, sorry to raise this thread again, but I got a letter asking me to go to CMPB for defauting IPPT; I am in the midst of doing RT now. This thread was 2011, now 2014, any difference?

I am to report to CMPB in September, by then I should have completed my RT and also an ICT.
