Adobe softwares are now running on subscriptions model.

Sent from Gresso Radical Black R1 using GAGT

Subscription based model will work very well for Adobe since many users die die won't want to upgrade their standalone dinosaur Photoshop edition that is working well all the while, costing almost an arm back when it was first released.

Adobe now can make users keep paying for the software they are using. Instead of allowing them keep their single whole purchase for eternity.

People here have already tried and succeeded. Do you think we will tell you something that won't work and ask you to gamble on it?

Its too early to say if Windows 10 gonna last 10 years or so. If it doesn't then you will lose your gamble on paying the premium of retail version.

I understand these methods work. But its unofficial, given out of goodwill by MS. They have no obligation to give us a reactivation for OEM.

OEM and retail serve their own purpose .....

anyway i feel the title is misleading... PCT give you wrong windows or you buy the wrong windows with your own assumption.

Mods pls help to change to something more appropriate. Thanks.

Well, now i learnt it the hard way. When i purchased it, i really trust the title because there is no OEM indicated there. Other windows sold by other sls stores(fuwell) have a mixture of OEM indicated on title so i didn't suspect anything amiss.

Hmm all my windows are OEM one... Even my dad office I also using OEM, you just have to call Microsoft up if you ever met with locked key. They will do a stupid check and ask if you're installing your PC and you I've whatever crap reason you are.

They will give you your confirmation ID thereafter. Done.

dont worry lah...
windows will be free when google releases their
chrome os + andriod os new hybrid os for desktop for free.

Google is merging Chrome OS and Android.
When it releases MS will have LLST and make win10 free.

i don see how is this going to affect MS since linux has been offering open source OS for donkey years.... what you are forgetting are legacy and eco system for applications and services.

so now consumer applications will need to be ported to chrome OS on top of linux, os x and windows and everyone will need to re-adapt the UI & UX?

Short update here.

Just got issues with my mobo and need to RMA it.

Called up Microsoft and the official reply from them is that I cannot transfer my OEM license even if my MOBO is spoilt. I'm interested to know how other people here actually get to transfer their OEM. Please advise, thanks.

Done that a few times, but not with Win10. With your new mb, when Windows prompt for activation, select offline activation. Then dial that hotline and key in your codes via phone. If cannot activate, it'll redirect you to a CSO. Then just tell the CSO your mb spoil and he/she will give you a new code to activate. Normally I did that in the night as it'll redirect to US Microsoft. Ang mohs are more lenient.

I did not even need to pay $18 as there was a period where u just need email address to register for a Windows 8 pro with media center key.

i switch my motherboard frequently and reinstall using OEM windows. You can call the CSO and sae the motherboard spoil. Some CSO will refuse to give u a code to help u unlock and ask you buy a new one. Just call again another time and talk to a different cso.
