Wrong move for a i5-4440, PSU and Vengeance pro also.

Combine moneyfaces's suggestion with say a ref r9 290 also will be around 1150-1200 which was what ts spent :( that one can game at 1440p almost max settings

Thats the result of impulse buying without doing any research beforehand.

In fact with $1200 i could get

Msi b85m g43 + i5-4570 ~ $347
Gskills ripjaws 1600mhz 2x4gb kit ~ $110
Superflower hx600 600w 80+ gold ~ $108
Samsung evo 250gb amazon ~ $188
Gigabyte r9 28XOC 3x windforce ~ $439

Total $1192.

you are right which is why i decided to just go with the feeling of impulse when i was in simlim today

Ouch. All that for $1200 is indeed not a balanced rig.

Your PSU first of all is not very futureproof if you are getting a more powerful GFX card. Should have gotten the Superflower HX600 for 90 bucks.

Your mobo is an ITX. You got yourself an ITX casing?

You definitely should not have gotten the vengeange pro. Just get Value rams 4GB x 2 DDR1600 Gskill is sufficient.

Your CPU is also not a wise buy. Should have gotten an i5-4570.

Last of all, with the $$ saved you could have upped your GFX card to R9 280/280X or GTX 770.

But since you have bought it just enjoy it. :)

Not even sure if the imc (integrated mem controller) of his CPU can handle the bandwidth of his expensive rams leh. Like buying expensive Ferrari grade tyres for a corolla.

*edit realized his vengeance pro is 1600mhz- can just get any value ram to run at that speed and voltage leh unless he intends to overclock the ram- which then raises the question of why pay more for over clockable ram but not overclockable CPU. paying extra for the fancy heat sink is hmmm....

haha. 1178 included my casing of 129.

I'm not upgrading anytime soon so I I bought a 500w.
Reason why I chose the PSU is because it was bundled with the MSI R9 270x for $330 so why not?:) and superflower was out of stock till early march.

Regarding the post regarding not researching. I very hurt you like that say hahah. cos I did;)

Regarding the amazon post. I also know amazon cheap, if I have time to wait I would too:) so shouldn't put in the list.

Regarding vengeance pro, budget rams cost 54 per 4gb so $10 more for a CL9 kit sounds cool:)

Regarding the CPU I wasn't looking at there expensive i5 has well series cos I read good reviews for 4430 but 4430 no stock.

Regarding the ignoring all the pros thing. i where have, you see carefully i followed what 80% people said, "600 not enough" so i increase haha

Some may not believe the cost. later i break it down. i Think the vengeance pro i kip tio. later tell you all when I'm home

You never do enough research. Coz value rams and vengeance pro ram give the same performance. The difference in $$ can go to something else. And it is not $10 diff.

Corsair value 4gb ram is at $48. 2x4gb would be $96. Corsair vengeance pro 2x4gb is $124. Diff of $28. That $$ can upgrade to i5-4570, odd, other small stuff.

What is your case that you bought?

Its not about just increase the budget nia... Its about the value worth. U can set ur budget to $10k, but $3k can already settle ur needs. What for go spend the full $10k to satisfy ur needs.

Not only vengeance pro u tio conned, but the whole setup as well. I think u oso nvr go bargain bah.
