Is this the scenario that you encountered?

1) Power on desktop.
2) Desktop's led, fan, and everything is running as per normal.
3) Monitor did not receive any signal.

Question. Do you have any graphic card?

I had tried reinstall n delete previous partition that left behind after installation failed.
Still cannot and I had re download the OS.

The biggest problem I facing is booting of bios, maybe 2 out of 10times is successful.
Everything is detected if I able to boot and the temp of cpu ard 3x to low 40s.
While ram at 2133 instead of 2666mhz

No graphic card, using onboard hdmi connect to monitor using DVI connector.
Got signal.

Using Microsoft X6 keyboard, if my keyboard lighted up means able to boot Bios.

Otherwise just fan spinning and power switch lighted

cannot post, hardware failure or bios settings wrong.
data corruption, ram

try remove cmos batt to rest bios, then see can post anot
if can, don't change settings first except boot settings to UEFI then try install win8.1

if cannot post, try each stick of ram individually and see can post anot

I tried all the methods except remove cmos battery.
Only turn off all power n press the clear cmos.

Tried numerous times of all the method mention and finally got to boot and load win 8 installation screen.
Hang for very long and I reboot, cannot boot again.

Very late Liao, shall try again tomorrow.
Thanks all for the advise :)

Suspect ram issue.

I think so.... cos I search webby and found I'm not the only one with booting issue with Z170 / X99 board.

Will try to take out ram & boot to confirm again, if got 3 beep = all ok except ram?
