After using multi door, I won't go back to normal 2-door top freezer fridge. Top freezer usually too small. Pana fridge has one that is bottom freezer and the space is designed very sensibly.

Thanks for the suggestion! Actually your Panasonic multidoor looks just like the Mit folio and Hitachi MIJ series. If no difference then I'll just get the cheapest. :s13:

Mits is known for their fridge compressors. Remember to look out for stuff like tempered glass shelf. There's one 3k + MIJ 6 door fridge that came with plastic shelves! Omg.

You have family buy a big one. If not you stuff a smaller fridge to the max and end up taxing the compressor.

this huan got 2 series. the older one ish bad design cos the lower freezer compartment too deep with no internal shelving. if u really need to take out things from below, u literally have to empty the whole top part or dig thru. and ur food are stacking on top of each other.

the newer series has sort of 1/2 height shelving so more convenient.

newer drawer freezer below.

Yah. The larger model has 2 drawers. Otherwise all dump into one big bin. I almost got this model but it's too wide. That's why 6 door is perfect for hdb. But sibeh ex.

Actually I'm still on the fence about big/small fridges. Big fridges encourage food hoarding, sometimes when I clean the fridge I find stuff way past its expiry date. -.- There was a thread on fridges sometime back, someone said that we actually don't need big fridges because supermarkets are everywhere, need something just buy, no need to store so many things in the fridge. :s22:

as big as your kitchen fridge area can fit. no point upgrading to a bigger one down the road...waste money
