Help with PC build?

Hi all

Been quite out of touch with whats hot and what's not in the hardware world.. need to build a PC for my wife (I figured more bang for the buck than buying her a laptop). Her main use for it will be:
-Watching movies (streaming off the net & downloaded)
-AutoCAD when she brings her work home
-No gaming

Budget around $1-1.2k. Don't need monitor, keyboard, mouse, probably fine with onboard sound too.

Requirements:
Need at least 8GB RAM (for AutoCAD), maybe recommend a decent (but not expensive) pair of desktop speakers. Will need Win7 OS as well. Was thinking of just a 128GB SSD for the OS drive, I got spare HDD's she can use for data. Thanks!

Autocad to me i have been using it for quite some time, dont think it needs a very high cpu. It doesnt use hyperthreading. Agrees 8gb ram is needed. But to see things clearly and illustrations design i would recommend a gfx card.

autocad only utilize single thread and opencl, so an APU 6800K is more than enough for her usage and very bang for the bucks too.

Been using it everyday on my own system. No lags at all. Btw im using 2012 though. Used in coy core 2 duo cpu also no issues at all.

Remove the GPU, just use IGP. No need HDD as TS already have it.

Forgot about the hdd part

Drop the hdd since you have an extra one.

To go igp or to go with gpu. I would say stick with the gpu.

I5 or i7. I5 will do even if it needs hyperthreading, it doesnt really make use of it. There is no great impact on it. Given with ts budget i5 is enough.

Overall save on hdd will be $110. So it will be $1090.

My recommendations still stands. Been using autocad for my engineering years. Never once i see a coy would use an i7 for autocad. Except for laptops user then yes.

250w is not a true power. It is definitely less than what they provide. And definitely not enough if its not even silver or bronze standard.

I know it's not true power, but the entire system would rarely breach 200W at full load right? Hence the FSP 300W
