Helping friend asking for pc

Hi my friend has 1.5k-1.8k budget and wants to build a pc that can play all games at highest settings! he prefer a good enough cpu and possibly r9 290

What resolution? You cant max 1440p on a 290x on all games even. 1080p is ok

Your friend get whatever GPU also cannot run Watch Dogs at highest settings :s13:

He needs keyboard(mechanical) Mouse, Monitor all at 1080p gaming and hoping all can play all ultra 1080p

His only option for 290 is asus 290 dcii at $518, if he can find. Also, if possible, up ssd to 256gb.
