Recently, machiam no urban planning at all, see got empty space, quickly build something over it, or just pour concrete and use as storage for sand or heavy vehicles and construction equipment. Concrete retains heat. Greenery reflects heat.

My question is, shouldn't they increase plot ratio and build taller instead to free up space for greenery?

Rain is need to rain whole day then useful.. rain 1 hour kind will just makes it much worse.. humidity through the roof while the heat slowly release from the concrete buildings, pavements and roads... Breathe in that musky hot air will fall sick..

Cut so many mature trees at the road side just to build cycling paths then randomly just plant many young saplings everywhere.. come amk take a look. All the pruning of the trees cut until botak botak.. some couldn't take the shock and stress didn't manage to regrow then died..
