New launch by Far East from the GLS land sales. Is this a better location than Myst?

Depends on what you want… this side is quieter and the walk to MRT seems shorter, but amenities wise Myst is better I feel… cos Hillion & BPP is much much better than HillV2 & Rail Mall…

When is this going to be launch? This area is more tranquil and peaceful and has the vibes of living in a private enclave.

This area 99LH cui one…..see their much older FH/999LH projects already prices up so much past few years.
All the existing FH/999 owners all cheering….new 99LH launches helps to lift up their depressed prices whahahahaha

I live in Bukit Batok and pass by Hillview occasionally.

The neighbourhood is mostly private housing. Highlight is it's quiet.

MRT station is within walking distance but there's a steep slope, up and down. So if you go work or school, you always have to climb twice. It's not like a slope that's only up or down. So each time you see the slope, you'll sianz already, and that's how many times each week?

Most recent condos there don't make much money on resale so that pretty much tells you the whole story about that area.

Just because it's near the MRT station doesn't mean it's a good location automatically. Having said that Downtown line is a good that goes through Bukit Timah (lower population density) and won't be as crowded, relatively speaking, compared to other lines. Schools along Bukit Timah are good.

And be prepared for RSAF planes five days a week in the daytime, occasionally at night but much less common

i also heard that road (upslope which you mentioned) out of the hillview estate is a big choke point.

in the morning and evening the traffic is crazy. if you want to get out in the morning you need to leave very early.

even those condo from 2011 ish until now the appreciation is poor. let alone the newer ones.

anyone knows if that area has monkeys?

That Hillview Rd is only one lane in either direction.

Those who give can check Google Maps for traffic colour during peak hours.
