85” vs 98” is a huge difference. Today if it is > 100”, just whack a projector for economic reasons.

Hi all, do you all buy the Hisense ultra slim swivel wall mount bracket from them? or can we get a similar bracket from elsewhere and compatible with Hisense TV?

was more inclined to get elsewhere as notice these bracket conform to certain standards and price seem cheaper when looking around last yr. end up jus let it stands on tv console as can fit.

Hi Guys.
Getting a new 65' TV.
Hisense U8H vs Sony X90L, which should i go for?
Is U8H older model of U8K? (I am guessing sg will have to wait till next yr for this model to reach us)
Room is normal ceiling light, afternoon is not really bright as TV is away from window.
Mostly will be watching Youtube, nextflix etc..., weekend additional xbox or PS.
Thanks in advance!

I'd definitely go for the Sony.
Sony should have better processing i.e. visuals looking more natural.
I've seen the X90L in stores, and it looks gorgeous!
Haven't seen the U8H in person, but note that SG's U8H is a downgraded version of the amazing US's U8H. I'm boycotting Hisense products - selling a different TV under the exact same name. 🤦‍♀️

Only reason to go for the U8H is price.

for tv it is still best to see and test personally, diff ppl hv diff preference
Courts and Gaincity hv showroom and should carry both models for you to compare
try get your own video or youtube and test them out
if you're particular on certain features or spec, confirm with the sales guy there or check in their brochure
no pt reading other regions review and guess or speculate

Warranty wise should be very little issue since its 3 years on site. From my own experience, if TV has issues, whatsapp the number on their site, they have ready refurbished sets to bring down and exchange your TV after verifying the issue through WhatsApp photo and video.

tat's good to hear from another owner
some ppl may prefer repair rather than refurbished set but i dun mind refurbished set for temp use during repair
at least we know they are responsive and not take long time

from my prev experience with lg, nowadays repair mayb juz replace mainboard or power board onsite which can be done in 10-15mins

Your repaired set will be for the next customer's replacement. Their on site warranty is just coming to your house to replace the set so there is no turn around for repair time.

Given the sizes of today's TVs, I think most people will be more agreeable to such on site warranty service as many are somewhat at their mercy. Won't hurt to ask to wait for your set to be repaired instead if it's an issue.

Buying anything locally singapore is a massive rip-off... Especially electronics
7000RM for 65U7K + Xbox SX = ~$2070sgd
Shopee 65U7K standalone = $3259 sgd
Lazada 65U7K standalone = $2659 sgd

Rampant and uncontrollable profiteering by SG cartel distributors, recommend import. Even pay 8% gst also cheaper
