Hi experts

Can I check with you on the mounting?

I have a mounted 32" lcd TV that is already 10 years old and looks like it will uplorry soon. I am planning to buy a new 32" TV LED TV to replace it.

Can the existing mounting be used on the new TV? Are all mountings universal for all tv?

Thanks!

my Hisense TV connected to wall cable point (I guess it is SCV from Starhub as I can see those encrypted channel). I am able to watch HD5, HD8, ChanelNewsAsia HD in the past 3 months, but a few days ago HD5 channel became not available from TV's channel list. Today I re-tune the channel, then all the HD channel gone. I was watching HD8 right before I start to re-tune. It receives digital non-HD channel at 642MHz. How strange it is. Any expert has any comment? Thanks in advance.

You may have a problem with the antenna cable. Check for connections are secured. If it still doesn't work, you may have to change one.

Thanks a lot for your input, I guess it is not related to cable or signal weakness. Once I find out reason (if I can) I will update here, maybe my HDB block's repainting construction work affects the SCV. Btw I stay in Telok Blangah area.

Hi, i recently purchased the 40 inch non smart hisense tv at 299 from lazada, to place in my room. The tv is very bright and if i lower the tv contrast n brightness, all the shades of grey/dark blue/ dark colour will become one big mesh of black. The brightness just doesn't scale down nicely like my pc monitor which i have it side by side. Is it a norm for tv or its just hisense being a sucky brand?

Lower the backlight, not brightness

Bought the Hisense 55inch 55k3300uw a few days back. Looks good so far, especially with Netflix 4k. The Opera OS is not very good though, but its a solvable problem with things like Chromecast or Apple TV or those Android TV Boxes.

I do have a slight issue. I have been reading up online that HDR support for HDMI input requires a firmware update. When connected to my PS4, the PS4 is able to detect that the TV is able to support HDR, but when i go into Picture Modes on the TV, i can only see the "Dynamic" option, not "High Dynamic Range" or "HDR". Not sure if thats correct or I need to have the firmware update. I connected my PS4 to HDMI input 3, which is HDMI 2.0, with a High Speed HDMI cable.

Any advice or suggestions? Anybody tried the firmware update? My current firmware is V00.01.00a.G0804.

So far playing PS4 on the TV has been quite smooth, only slight ghosting issue when playing Fifa 17, when i switch between players. Other than that, has been quite satisfactory.

Thanks in advance! Hopefully can get some help here regarding HDR...
