Booked SIA to HK this coming weekend(PC Show)(1to go). Though not as gd as Cathay CX but still like A380 flight timing.

If you guys don't mind paying a bit more, get the first row Scoot in Silent seats. It's one of the best choice I ever made flying budget.

1. Much more leg room space. I stretched out my legs and put them on the "wall" (what's that called?) and fell asleep.

2. No disturbance from people who likes to recline their seats. Kids won't really be affected, but adults...

3. No specific requirements to sit those seats (the other airlines will not let anyone take first row seats if never meet requirements, so if you have kids, this becomes very annoying).

Only minus is very far from the toilet. Scoot's toilets are at two ends of the plane. :o

wanted scoot in silent seats but im not qualified due to the kids im bringing along..

so took the first row seats just behind the scoot in silent, stretch seats @ $30.

decided to spend abit more on the departure flight bah due to the odd hours timing, more leg room rest, easier to rest.

but ended up the all in air tix price also not very attractive... due to the processing fees, baggage fees, add seats fees....

scoot to go - stretch seats - $118 per pax.

jetstar to return around $130 per pax, normal seats.

still lose to the cathay pacific promo of $238... but during august SQ and CATHAY all > $300.... so no choice.....

Eh? I remember the Scoot in Silent first row seats have no requirements, because I myself will fail to meet the requirements.

Yeah, the annoying thing about flying budget is that it's truly not budget, unless you fly during awkward times after all the ++.
