guys, it's my first time going to hk so not sure about the rates. checked airasia, scoot and jetstar and now the cheapest is about $250 per px with baggage both ways. worth it? or there are other offers that i do not know of? please advise, thanks!

Not sure, u need call jetstar and ask
know for the past club sales, you muz join one day before they released their promo price lol ... once they released, you cant book for the current one liao ...

airasia doesnt fly direct to hk. They stop at KUL then go HK.

sin to hk direct flights:
jetstar, scoot, tiger, cathay, singapore airlines, united airlines ...
cathay always have 238 promo
sq cheapest was 258
jetstar cheapest so far is 73sgd ...follow by current club sales 92sgd
scoot timing not gd, always promo 91 to 150sgd exclude 20sgd cc fees.
all two way nett taxes in

so i guess $250 taxes and baggage in is consider on the expensive side for jetstar..
i checked out cathay and they do not have fares for those days im intending to fly for the hsbc promo.
do you think jetstar will have other promo if i wait? left less than 3 months to book haha.

If i am rite, jetstar 15kg to 25kg luggage checked in should be abt 25sgd ...
this year so far jetstar have abt 5 promotions.
including 95sgd apr promo, can fly jun sch holiday period ...
think every one to two mth they would have at least one good promo

they also have the usual friday frenzy sales promo, sometimes good sometimes not. like the last friday sales, not very good, taipei is abt 200+

hence, cannot predict they would have how many promo in the future
muz see demand and supply ... however, scoot would always have promo for hk lol ... if u really need to fly, and want to keep below 150sgd two way exclude checked in , scoot is the choice ...
Scoot timing is 0130 to 0530 , return is 0650 to 1020

yup, taken once before scoot hk
coz that time opening special, fly 25dec to end dec or early jan is 120sgd
quite worth, so book
then reach hk is 5am ...
at 6+am reach hotel, cannot checked in
that time stayed rainbow hotel 2 pax deluxe room 120sgd
then wait until 1pm then can check in ...

weather super cold, abt 12degree, wondering around lol...
so tiring and restless ...
then 1pm checked in, we all sleep until evening lol ...

then 3am we check out ... 3.30am reached bus stop
take 1hr bus to airport ...
then you will c many ppl queue at scoot counter 4.30am
all so restless like no spirit lol ...

coz diff dates, hotel price is diff ...
and also ur hotel issit two room or one family room for four ppl ?
