since their promo fare nowadays is $258 to $268 onwards ...

scoot has promo today and i checked the airticket to hongkong is only $85, havent add in tax etc!

add up is $175+
havent add in luggage checked in , and for scoot promo, sometimes they only allow voucher and cc, cant use offline payments for some of them ...

must well fly full fledged 250+
meals on board + entertainment + 30kg luggage + 5* services by cathay and SQ

price seems not bad ... this year SQ have opened up promo fares for Dec travel for many countries ... Usually SQ dec for hkg is about $500+

Flew before scoot during xmas period ... stayed 3* hotel in jordan area, about $125 per nite ... if offpeak is about $95+ ...

Why year end Sq fly to hk so cheap $500+.

I since apr look at ndp long weekend fly to hk via Sq and the price for economy is $1000-1200.

normally dec is at least this pricing .
but SQ has generously opened up Dec travel period at $268 onwards ...

yup, this year is special lol ...
none of the last few years when I have checked prices , none of them have
$600 - japan
$268 - hong kong
After this round, dont think they would have another round
Dec usually is the time they earn the max from you, if they dont, when then ...

Except for bangkok:
Few years back when there is flood in Dec
$198 - bkk
bought tickets, the flight kinda full, go there no flood lol ...
thai airways was $275+ that time, those who bought tg make noise lol ...

You probably have to book very early, the moment when promo is released

Sometimes, due to low demand, the price goes down

Should be 99% wont have promo in dec ...
their jun $268 promo fly nov/dec, including xmas and new year ... should be a one off thingy ...
