Hi Guys,

Just a quick qns.
Please correct me if im wrong.
Supporting document needed for HLE
1. 3 mnths payslip or recent letter from employer.
2. If salary includes transport allowance etc, 12 mnths payslip needed.
3. 15 mnths CPF contribution

Is that all? do i need to submit my vehicle loan details?

The website will guide you step by step. Just submit what is required as shown. If info is lacking, they will get back to you to refurbish more docs. No need worry so much.

Yes, it is part of the HLE, and it's up to you to declare. (whether they check or not, nobody knows, but try not to test the system)

And some may be even asked to furnish credit bureau report.

Different criteria for different category of people.

If you need more loan, declare all transport allowance etc
Circle the final amount you want to declare on each month payslip (use pencil, do it before u scan), so the person reading it wont have to figure out exactly how much should your monthly salary be.

Of course if your salary + allowance is over the limit, then maybe circle the part which is permissible under current rule , and hope for the best.

ah.. i see, thanks a lot. I was confused by 2 information on HDB website.
one only requires what i have mentioned above and another requires more in depth like vehicle loan details etc... so I didnt know which to follow.

I see, the think is my allowance is CPF deductible. So i am not too sure whether i should throw in my vehicle loan details too.
Anyway thanks a lot! gonna head to the bank for details first just in case hahhaa..

Our HLE had expired in Sept 16 before the signing of lease agreement. Do we need to reapply now or nearing collection of keys?

Under the mom regulations, from 1st April all employers must issue itemised pay slips to employees covered under the Employment Act.

Pt or ft all must have payslip.

I am very sure you might just click on purchasing of private. Thats why it came up to double.


Do again with hdb purchases you will be somewhere near what hdb will grant you. Maybe slightly higher.

For myself, I missed 1 mth's payslip as I couldn't request from my ex coy. But anyway my CPF contribution could prove that I did get a pay from that coy, so the CSO asked me to write out the oath and sign it.

Yes you can. You do not need HLE to ballot for a flat. (Though I would recommend it so you can plan your finances in advance.)

I got a question guys. the hle is see basic pay and additional fixed monthly addons which don't include OT and OFFDAY pay right? so means my loan amount would be low?. then I read the hdb website if I want to apply for the housing grant they will take ur monthly gross for 12 months.

means if my ot plus off day pay is high my loan will still be low and then plus the housing grant the take 12 month average gross.

so for people like me low basic but high ot pay means I get low loan and low grant at the same time???

I didnt receive any SMS.
I just went in to check and they said its approved with the supporting letter which can be downloaded.

u may wanna check if you did a draft only or submitted the electronic application.
