not much hype on the phone, other than their fb, lazada or shopee no ad on it. Maybe if telco is stocking it price might drop further. a pity no 2 years warranty

price is good, they cheap-ed out on the warranty (and the physical setup/presence etc). 2 yr warranty like HW is really useful, free battery change after 2 years.

Well I guess something has to give, considering it's a lower price than up-north. those who bought MY sets can console themselves with the extra 1yr warranty.

Singapore is ending 3G all phones must support VoLTE.

So in other words, we have to start using phones which support VoLTE already and not get phones which do not support?

I just got an Honor X9a... dunno whether it supports VoLTE anot...

I'm not sure because some formers said don't have but I have doubts on their claims.

You can change to other Telco.

phones are volte enabled, telcos (not mvnos) have volte. but need each telco to offer volte support to specific models. like simba has a list of volte supported devices

Does the phone really need to be on the telco's list of voLTE supported phones in order to use voLTE? I'm using a phone which isn't on Singtel's list of supported phones but I am still able to use voLTE (it shows up in the status bar). Someone here commented that he can't find the voLTE option in the Magic5 Pro demo set. If the demo set doesn't have a sim, it naturally won't have that option available in the settings.

I just tried my starhub sim in my friends phone. No VoLTE. Confirm.. I made a test call and tried to open Google browser, it started crawling and didn't even complete the page loading.

Wah that's bad. They launched the phone more than 3 months after the Malaysian launch and couldn't be bothered to implement volte for Singapore telcos. It's supposed to be a local set. It's going to be a "no" from me too.
