the screen is actually 6.81", the quad curve display really makes the phone easy to holdunder-rated phone in terms of specs is to price ratio.
somehow phone feels very much compact even though it is a whopping 6.7 inch screen.

Mate20x is really 1 of a kind.. I consider it to be one of the best phone I have ever use.the screen looks a lot smaller next to the s23u
honor literally cut all the corners.
disappointed coz coming from the mate20x, i wanted the next biggest screen.
turns out 6.81 is smaller than 6.8.
It due to aspect ratio 19.3:9 vs 19.5:9..the screen looks a lot smaller next to the s23u

That is becos, some of the older Honor phones are still under the care of Huawei. Only those new Honor phones after separation "will no longer taken care of" by Huawei.actually it is huawei emui...... this is why i like.
i was hoping if they are associated in something, then software won't be an issue in the future. As huawei constant update their software.
today i read, they are providing updates for previous honor phones under harmony OS.![]()
It will depend on whether Honor wants to sell it to Telecom. And if the telecom is asking high commission, do you still want to do business with them?Still no news from the 3 telcos in selling/bundling the contract with M5 pro

I saw Starhub still selling Huawei P60 Pro, Mate X3 and Mate 50 Pro. The sales must be good?It will depend on whether Honor wants to sell it to Telecom. And if the telecom is asking high commission, do you still want to do business with them?
And now moreover, you see what are the phones Telcoms are selling now? Just 2 big players, Apple and Samsung. The rest are just side dishes.
Maybe this is the reason the telco don't want to sell M5 pro, as it might affect the sales of hwawei phones that they are selling currently, as m5pro comes with Google play.I saw Starhub still selling Huawei P60 Pro, Mate X3 and Mate 50 Pro. The sales must be good?
But isn't that the same for the rest of the phones that they are selling? (ie. all using google)Maybe this is the reason the telco don't want to sell M5 pro, as it might affect the sales of hwawei phones that they are selling currently, as m5pro comes with Google play.
Hwawei used to own Honor, so I think both phones share many similarities in terms of software experience? I've not used either phones before hence I'm just guessing here... In terms of camera of honor magic 5 pro is 3rd ranking in DXOMark, and Hwawei p6 pro is the 1st ranking in DXOMark, so honor magic 5 pro seems to be good alternative to hwawei P60 pro, as it uses snapdragon 8 gen 2, as compared to snapdragon 8 gen+1 in hwawei P60 pro. Honor magic 5 pro comes standard with 512 GB, whereas P60 pro based spec comes with 256 GB, which is more expensive than Honor magic 5 pro.But isn't that the same for the rest of the phones that they are selling?
